ATHUMI<\/strong> means nobility<\/strong> in the Etruscan language, a fitting name for a wine of such noble qualities. It is produced from Sangiovese<\/strong> and Petit Verdot<\/strong> grape varieties near the village of Farnese in the splendid area known as the Tuscia Viterbese. Athumi derives its character and strength from the minerals in the tuffaceous volcanic soil.<\/p>\n The wine is ruby red in colour<\/strong> with highlights of garnets. It has an intense aroma with fruity notes of red currents and cherries mixed with spices and vanilla.
